writing.
The best and worst of humanity. Scary truths and even scarier imaginings. Absolute dumbshit jokes you come up with at one in the morning and can’t stop saying, “heh heh, that’s so stupid, heh heh heh” about. These are the things that attract me to writing.
I’ve written a dozen feature screenplays, a couple shorts, and a handful of plays. My main sandbox is horror, but I’ve also dabbled in drama, dark comedy, action, and absurdism.
tricycles.
Below you can check out a web series I wrote, starred in, and co-produced called Tricycles. It’s a feature-length narrative web series told in ten parts. Tricycles follows the misunderstandings of a naïve, perpetually single 30-year old who finds himself in over his head as he gets dragged into the relationship struggles of friends, his own parents, and even strangers. This third wheel gets taken for a real spin.
Episode one: communication
A dinner party no one wanted to attend. So everyone cancelled - except for Kevin. Now he’s alone in the middle of a marital minefield.
minisode one:
Sometimes there are no words…
Minisode Two:
A PSA: PDA - not fun for everyone.
Minisode three:
Sometimes there are too many words.
episode two: compromise
There’s nothing like trying to retain a sense of normalcy after witnessing someone’s hopes and dreams being dashed upon the rocks.
episode three: spicing it Up
The charade is up after a game night turns into an invitation for more, and it’s got everyone questioning themselves.
episode four: moving on
A chance encounter in a rideshare leads Kevin and some new friends to the brink. One guest doesn’t know when to leave, and one just won’t go away.
episode five: cohabitation
Not all third wheels bring a sense of balance.
episode six: realistic expectations
Kevin gets much more than he bargained for when he turns to his parents for advice.
episode seven: honesty
Self sabotage runs amok when Kevin goes on a date with a girl who brings her cousin along.
